As I wrap up my last semester at CU Denver with my 3rd MS degree, this one in Management and Organization, I wanted to share an author I discovered along the way – Adam Grant. This will be a super short post, basically just one TedTalk from Adam. I’ve shared it with my engineering colleagues all over the world as I think it’s particularly useful for our field as engineers (especially the younger ones) tend to think that when they’re right, they have an obligation to assert their confidence with both vigor and conviction. There’s a time and a place for that (rarely), but what I’ve found my working with some of the sharpest people on the planet is that there’s a better way.
